Basically, everyone looking at the same photo can see a different image. What we see can be e.g. the result of life experiences, a reflection of current emotional state, or a vision of the world that someone wanted to show us. For me, the COVID pandemic is a period of internalisation, closing in my own world with my thoughts... The time of isolation, many lonely walking tour made me start to look more closely at the objects around me. Sometimes, seemingly invisible images painted by nature on stone slabs/walls began to provide more information and take various forms. Abstractions from nature have been the object of my interest for a long time and often also an inspiration to create new pictures. In this project I collected „portraits" created by nature on stone slabs. Highlighting the colors, increasing the light or the shadow made it possible to emphasize the message.

The photographs were taken in Warsaw,, from May to December 2020.
